Mau Mau likes to comment on topical issues and his print and graffiti work often features enviro-political imagery.

On of the common themes which he comments in his work is the surveillance culture, which he depicts trough works like ‘Peep Show’, an image of a (surveillance) pole-dancing female police officer and ‘Little Red Riding Hoodie’, an image of this famous character with a spray can being watched through a CCTV.

Further the artist has completed work for Greenpeace, Surfers Against Sewage and the Glastonbury Festival.

A surfboard designed by the artist for Surfers Against Sewage formed part of a charity sale of urban art by auction house Bonham’s.

Mau’s also performed live spray painting demos at many events including Urban Games and Glastonbury Festival.

He has also worked for record companies such as Ninja Tunes and Lowlife Records and made animated videos for Herbaliser, Dizzee Rascal and Skitz.

His street work can be seen all over the world including the UK, America, Jamaica, Thailand and Australia.
